KJPL Development had built suburban apartments in Nashville before. For this cycle, they sought to develop at least two more 300-unit garden-style apartments in suburban-Nashville markets. Gallatin was attractive for its highly-rated schools and its low apartment supply. The subject property was one component of a larger mixed-use master-plan named Greensboro Village and the site was (already) entitled for 304 apartment units. The final site plan approval process was a challenge, though the end result is a well-amenitized, 304-unit apartment complex that’s leasing 26-units per month!
